Simmered Pumpkin with Minced Soy Meat

Ingredients (2 Servings)

Daizu Labo Frozen Soy Meat Minced 200g
50g
Pumpkin
400g
Ginger
10g
Sesame Oil
1 tbsp.
Corn Starch
2 tsp.

Dashi Stock (if Dashi is not available, use vegetable or chicken stock)
300ml
Sugar
1 tbsp.
Soy Sauce
1 tbsp.
Salt
3g (1/4 tsp.)
Mirin
2 tbsp.
(if Mirin is not available, use 30 ml of White Wine and 1 tsp. of Honey)
 

Recipe

 
[Preparation]
Chop ginger.
Remove the seeds and guts from pumpkin. Peel several places and cut into bite sizes.
Dissolve corn starch with 1 tbsp. water.

Put sesame oil in a pot and stir-fry Daizu Labo Frozen Soy Meat.

Add (a) in the pot and put pumpkin with the skin side down. After comes to boil, keep boiling with weak middle heat for approx. 5 minutes.

When pumpkin is cooked, take out and put on the dish. Add dissolved corn starch in the pot and mix it to make the soup sticky. Pout the soup on pumpkin.
